Some people don’t change.
Or is it that we wish something better for them?
Better for everyone.
But they are whom they are;
so is it that
people don’t change,
or people can’t accept them? –
accept them for whom they are,
like we’re supposed to?
I guess that’s the big idea, but
how do you accept those who don’t accept themselves?
Some people never change;
those people just don’t fit in your life.
They can’t be the person you want them to be.
So there you stay,
destined to hope for something better,
but letting go of everything that matters.
